The vehicles...Transfers are normally conducted in a luxury air-conditioned minibus. Once we arrive at the Kruger National Park, we continue the safari in a specially designed open safari vehicle, which is perfect for game viewing. Our vehicles are new, kept in immaculate condition, carry the required permits and comply with SABS safety standards. We provide complimentary cold mineral water, soft drinks, coffee/tea and snacks on all drives, and make regular comfort stops so you can stretch your legs or do whatever else people do during a comfort stop. We also offer you the use of quality binoculars and a full reference library on board, as well as a map book of the Kruger Park. The vehicle has a 12V connection for charging camera batteries or other equipment. The accommodation...The choice of accommodation will be up to you, but we normally recommend good quality accommodation options that we have personally tried out first. We do not offer camping trips. Inside the Kruger National Park, we stay at some of the best camps and overnight in air-conditioned chalets or bungalows with en-suite bathroom. On some of our safaris, we make use of fully equipped permanent safari tents. At the private game lodges in the famous Sabi Sand and Timbavati private game reserves, accommodation is normally in luxurious en-suite rooms or chalets with air-conditioning, private veranda and in some cases an outside shower and private plunge pool. Some camps offer luxurious canvas safari tents as accommodation. Each room is superbly decorated and designed for indulgent comfort and luxury. Some lodges offer more rustic accommodation, for those who prefer a less luxurious bush experience at a lower price. Dear Bronwyn, Well, we are finally home after a fantastic holiday in SA. The highlight was our trip to Kruger with Simon. I cannot emphasise enough how brilliant it was to be with someone who was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about all the wildlife. We even learnt quite a bit about birds!! He was so helpful and really made our visit there special. We only felt sorry that we couldn't spend more time in the park with him - and all the animals and birds. Hi! Our safari with Wild Wings Safaris was
wonderful!!! Our guide was just excellent --
he went beyond what was promised and was extremely
knowledgeable as well as fun! The safari was
flexible -- so we were able to change the itinerary
to do what we wanted to do! I highly recommend this
company! Even though it is advertised as a budget
safari, we were certainly treated to the best food
and had excellent accommodations! All in all it was
one of the best trips I have ever had!
