Spend a few nights at each of these beautiful destinations on a fully guided or semi-guided tour with flexible itinerary. No scheduled departures - choose your own dates and length of stay. No long road trip required - you can fly from Cape Town to Johannesburg or to Nelspruit. The safari can start in Cape Town or Johannesburg. This package can also be done on a self-drive basis.

Example of fully guided itinerary:

Upon arrival in Cape Town you will be met at the airport by your friendly and knowledgeable tour guide for the Cape Town leg of your tour, who will transfer you to the top of Signal Hill for welcome drinks and a panoramic view of the beautiful city of Cape Town.

Check in at your 4-star hotel. We use a number of superb hotels in the heart of Cape Town or at the famous Waterfront, with several restaurants, shops and other amenities within easy walking distance. The accommodation in Cape Town is on a bed and breakfast basis, leaving you the freedom to choose your other meals from any of the quality restaurants in Cape Town.

The following guided tours are normally included in the package:

• Table Mountain (by cable way) and Cape Town explorer (topless bus tour of the city including Camps Bay).
• Cape Point and the scenic Cape of Good Hope, where the Atlantic and Indian oceans meet.
• Cape Winelands tour, including Stellenbosch and Franshoek nestled between the mountains.

• Robben Island tour (access by ferry) where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned.

After your stay in Cape Town, you will be transferred back to the airport to catch your 2-hour flight to Johannesburg (flights not included). You can also opt to fly to Nelspruit, which is closer to the Kruger Park. Upon arrival, your friendly and knowledgeable guide for the Kruger Park leg of the tour will await you at the airport and transfer you to your accommodation in the Kruger National Park. Accommodation is in standard bungalows with en-suite bathroom and air-conditioning. We use one of the most popular camps in the park, situated in an excellent area for game viewing.

Enjoy daily guided game drives in the Kruger National Park on an open safari vehicle, with an experienced safari guide. Breakfasts and dinners are included in the cost, and the itinerary of this part of your trip is similar to our 4-day Kruger Park Budget Safari.

Another option is to stay at a private game lodge in the greater Kruger Park, where the accommodation is more luxurious and the land rovers are able to go off-road to get closer to the animals. At a private lodge, 3 full meals are included each day, as well as 2 daily game drives and a guided bush walk. You can choose from any of the game lodges that are featured on our website, subject to availability.

The itinerary is flexible and can be adjusted to suit your requirements. Any of our standard Kruger Park safaris or private game lodges can be used as a base for the Kruger Park leg.
