Gomo Gomo Game Lodge

Gomo Gomo Game Lodge is a wonderful game lodge for budget-conscious travelers. It is situated in the Klaserie Game Reserve, which forms part of the greater Kruger National Park. Gomo Gomo is well-priced and therefore a very popular lodge. The game viewing in the area is excellent.

At the end of 2008 Gomo Gomo relocated to a beautiful new camp, overlooking a stunning waterhole. The new camp offers 4 comfortable, air-conditioned twin or double rooms with en-suite bathrooms. There are also two family units consisting of two bedrooms with a shared bathroom. If you are a return visitor and specifically want to stay at the old Gomo Gomo camp, please contact us.

Central facilities include a comfortable lounge and fireplace, viewing deck shaded by a large tree, and a swimming pool overlooking the waterhole. At night the camp is lit up by kerosene lamps, creating a relaxed safari ambience. The tasty cuisine is a combination of African and Western influences with the focus on exceptional quality.

All game drives are included in the cost and conducted by highly qualified rangers on open safari vehicles. In this picture, a pride of lions are feeding on a young giraffe which they killed near the lodge.

The Big Five animals are regularly seen on game drives, and you may also encounter giraffe, zebra, kudu, hippo, baboons, various antelope species and lots more. If you are lucky you might even see cheetah or wild dog. On night drives you may be able to see hyenas, genet, civet, owls and other nocturnal animals. You can also do a guided bush walk with an armed ranger.
