Imbali Safari Lodge

Imbali Safari Lodge is a luxury game lodge situated in a private concession area of the famous Kruger National Park, overlooking the Nwaswitsontso riverbed. Imbali is one of the hidden treasures of Kruger - a stunning, luxurious game lodge with 12 intimate suites, each with their own private jacuzzi. The lodge is situated in one of the best game viewing areas in the Kruger Park, and it has exclusive traversing rights on 10,000 hectares of pristine wilderness.

Imbali features large expanses of glass, thatch and wooden decks for optimum comfort and game viewing. The main lounge area is fronted by a beautiful game viewing deck and sparkling swimming pool. The exclusive 5-star suites each have a private veranda, spa-bath, luxurious furnishings and king-size or twin beds. Spacious bathrooms, air-conditioning and a glorious view over the riverbed and bush beyond complete the picture.

Game drives are conducted each morning and afternoon on open safari vehicles, with a qualified ranger and tracker. The Big Five animals are regularly seen on game drives, and with some luck you can also see cheetah and wild dogs. A unique benefit of Imbali is that you can also do your own self-drive game drives within the Kruger Park if you wish - so Imbali is perfect to combine a luxury guided safari with your own self-drive adventures.

Our rates are all-inclusive. There are no hidden fees or unexpected costs not mentioned below. The following is INCLUDED:

• Accommodation with air-conditioning and en-suite bathroom
• Three delicious meals daily including all teas and coffees
• Two scheduled game drives daily in an open 4 x 4 safari vehicle, accompanied by an experienced ranger and tracker (about 3 hours each)

• Flights / transfers to and from the lodge (see below).

• All drinks (please ask us about a special rate that includes all drinks).

Getting to the lodge

• You can book a scheduled flight on SA Airlink from Johannesburg to Hoedspruit Airport.
• From Hoedspruit Airport we can arrange a road transfer to the lodge. The trip takes about 2 hours.
• Road transfers from Johannesburg can also be arranged. This trip takes about 7 hours.
• We can also book you a direct chartered flight from Johannesburg to the lodge's airstrip. This is the easiest and quickest way to get there.
• You can drive yourself to the lodge. We offer car rental at excellent rates, with unlimited mileage and super insurance cover with no excess. It is possible to do your own game drives in the Kruger Park from Imbali.
